It can run on either AC power (adapter included) or battery power (4 AA batteries; not included). The scale features an extra-large LCD display and tare weighing function, and is switchable between lbs/oz and grams. It has a capacity of 5,000 g with 1 g resolution, or 11 lb with 0.05 oz resolution.
