With Tanita’s exclusive bioelectric impedance analysis (BIA) technology, this 8 electrode body composition monitor displays 19 readings; 9 whole body and 10 segmental (arms, legs, and trunk area) so you can see exactly how your body is responding to specific training and lifestyle changes. From tracking body fat and muscle mass trends to recommending calorie intake and indicating hydration levels, this monitor helps you tailor your exercise and dietary requirements to achieve your goals. Up to 4 users can record and review their results, and the data is stored for 6 months.

The BC-601FS goes well beyond standard body composition with 8 BIA electrodes, providing a segmental review of what you’re made of. Segmental measurements give you more information than standard body composition monitors. This unique product gives individual body composition readings for each body segment- trunk, right arm, left arm, right leg, and left leg. It is especially useful for anyone monitoring the balance of the left and right side of the body or trying to build or rehabilitate a particular part of their body.

The extra-large LCD color display is easy-to-read, and the retractable cord ensures the handset fits snugly into the main unit for easy storage. The BC-601FS also includes an SD card feature for storage and transfer of body composition data.

With a capacity of 330 pounds / 150 kg and an increment of 0.2 pounds / 0.1 kg, this single frequency body composition analyzer provides full body measurements including weight, BMI, body fat %, muscle mass, body water %, daily caloric intake, metabolic age 12-90, bone mass, and visceral fat rating. In addition, it offers segmental measurements for body fat % and muscle mass, and includes 4 person memory, athlete mode, and guest mode.

The BC-601FS also includes HealthyEdge Lite Software for download, allowing users to monitor physique changes, body balance, and track readings over time.
