When using the scale for the first time or if it has been moved to a new location, tap the reset switch and ensure that the display shows “0.0” before stepping on. The scale requires a certain level of brightness to operate, and if the available light is dimmer than required, the display may show “LO”. In this case, move the scale to a brighter location.
